This new blu-ray edition of the Sigur Rós' classic 2005 album Takk featuring the 2025 Dolby Atmos mix alongside the remastered high resolution audio in 96kHz/24bit PCM Stereo.

The disc also includes the original B-sides in hi-res stereo, plus the promo videos upgraded to HD.

Bonus contents include a 60 min filmed performance from Reykjavik and two documentaries.

Takk is packaged in a gatefold digisleeve, with a 20-page booklet and will be released on 25 September 2026, via Parlophone.

This blu-ray audio requires a blu-ray player. Decoding the Dolby Atmos Mix requires a Dolby Atmos certified soundbar or a Dolby Atmos compatible receiver or amplifier, with appropriate speaker set-up. The Dolby Atmos Mix will play on 5.1 systems. It will 'fold down' to 5.1 if an Atmos decoder is not detected and sounds in elements that are unique to Atmos (e.g. 'height' speakers) will get player via other channels.
