Dire Straits / On Every Street SDE exclusive blu-ray audio

Dire Straits' final studio album, 1991's On Every Street, is reissued as this SDE exclusive bu-ray.

The album features the singles 'Calling Elvis', 'Heavy Fuel', 'On Every Street' and 'The Bug' and was No 1 in the UK and across many countries in Europe.

The SDE exclusive blu-ray audio features a brand new Dolby Atmos Mix by Dire Straits band member and longtime Mark Knopfler associate Guy Fletcher, and a 2026 stereo remaster by Miles Showell.

Miles has confirmed that this is non-limited audio and is the same high quality source used for a forthcoming vinyl version of this album. For those curious, this album was originally mixed to DAT cassettes at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz. The blu-ray also features an instrumental version of the album in Dolby Atmos, the first time the album has ever been available in instrumental form (it's a wonderful listen).

The On Every Street (Region-free) blu-ray audio is #72 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series and will be packaged similarly to previous editions (clear amaray case) and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase.

The SDE blu-ray audio is TIME LIMITED release; the pre-order window closes at midnight GMT on 8 September 2026. Availability after that point cannot be guaranteed. 

On Every Street is released on 16 October 2026, via UMR.
