Chapters: The Best of Midge Ure is a brand new compilation album featuring new stereo mixes of his greatest hits.
Midge is of course, best known for being the front man of the 1980's version of Ultravox and his involvement in Visage, Thin Lizzy, not to mention being the co-creator and founder of Band Aid, Live Aid, and the Christmas single 'Do They Know Its Christmas?'.

This new 15-track Best of collection gives a fresh feel to the music, and for the first time Midge has recorded new studio versions of Visage’s 'Fade To Grey' and Phil Lynott’s 'Yellow Pearl', which he originally co-wrote.

The album includes all his hits, key album tracks and some songs he has been associated through his career. Featuring his UK No.1 single, 'If I Was' along with classics like 'Dear God', 'No Regrets', 'The Man Who Sold The World', 'After A Fashion' which he recorded with Japan’s Mick Karn and the sublime duet with Kate Bush, 'Sister & Brother' (Kate in Atmos!)

This SDE exclusive 2LP splatter vinyl will be pressed at The Vinyl Factory in the UK with the hand pressing overseen by SDE editor Paul Sinclair. The colour mix of the splatter vinyl will be determined on the day. The vinyl comes with OBI-strip and Cerficate.

Chapters:The Best Of Midge Ure is reissued on 13 November 2026 via Chrysalis.
