Mark Knopfler will release One Deep River, his 10th solo studio album in April and amongst the formats will be an SDE-exclusive blu-ray audio, No 18 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series.

Released on his own British Grove label via EMI One Deep River features 12 unhurriedly elegant new Knopfler songs, and his warm Geordie vocal tone, his poetic storytelling lyrics and deft, richly melodic guitar playing are all present and correct and as dazzling as ever.

The SDE-exclusive blu-ray features the album, plus five bonus tracks, in immersive Dolby Atmos and the highest resolution stereo 192/24. Neither are available anywhere else on a physical product.

The blu-ray features no video and will be region-free so international fans won't have any issues playing the disc. It also ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase.

    This blu-ray audio requires a blu-ray player. Decoding the Dolby Atmos Mix requires a Dolby Atmos certified soundbar or a Dolby Atmos compatible receiver or amplifier, with appropriate speaker set-up. The Dolby Atmos Mix will play on 5.1 systems. It will 'fold down' to 5.1 if an Atmos decoder is not detected and sounds in elements that are unique to Atmos (e.g. 'height' speakers) will get player via other channels.
